Catch a Sunset At the War Memorial

After your picnic and stop by Glace, be sure to head over to the National World War I Museum and Memorial to catch a spectacular sunset view! The city glows as the sun makes it descent below the horizon, and the National World War I Museum and Memorial is one of the greatest places in KC to witness the magic.

Cool Off At The Splashpad

Let’s face it—KC in the summer can be HOT. On those days when the sun and humidity is just a bit overbearing, pack a bag and some towels and head out to one of the many local spraygrounds (I.E. splashpads) to cool off!
